The LumiVibe Glass Pendant Light is a contemporary fixture built from glass, designed to look considered and still survive daily use. The ribbing runs the full height of the shade, which is where its character comes from.
Glass Specified for Wear

Rib Spacing Worked Out
The rib spacing was worked out against the light it produces, not against a drawing. Against a mass market pendant the difference is in how the ribs break the light rather than in the spec. It reads as a decision rather than a gap filler.
